Sorry I have not posted consistantly or in a while. I'll work on that.
To catch everyone up, it's pretty much the same ol' same ol' here. Tim is playing indoor soccer on Friday nights are we're enjoying getting out of the house and cheering Daddy on. It's especially fun when some friends come keep us company. We had a great Mother's Day weekend. We finally dedicated Joanna in church on Sunday and both kids were actually pretty good up on stage. Maybe they have Mommy and Daddy's stage fright. They were nice and quiet. We enjoyed having (Tim's) Dad stay with us for the week and being at the dedication. The extra set of hands were a big help. I think the next baby we dedicate, we'll need (Tim's) Mom out here to help hold children. (It's worth asking...) The weather is really beautiful today and if we didn't have some fellas here to work on the kitchen counters, we would be outside all day. I think we'll go to church with Daddy tonight and take advantage of the three playgrounds our church shares with Desert Christian School.
This year seems to just be flying by! I've enjoyed the small slow down in our schedule, though things will be picking up a bit again soon with VBS and Splash Kingdom coming up. I'm toying with the idea of getting involved in one of our Summer programs at church. I really enjoyed the Hymns and Her class I was able to take last year. The ladies who taught the class (who actually came up with the whole idea and did a beautiful job with it) are far too busy this Summer to offer a repeat class. A bummer for me since Joanna came in the middle of the course, but I do understand that they need a break.
That about wraps things up around here. I'll be sure to post again soon if something exciting happens.
Oh and I suppose you all would like to see some pictures from Joanna's dedication. :)
And hey, if you're bored and have little ones and want them to learn how to spell triangle, my favorite band made a Children's Song. (It's Isaiah's new favorite...which is good. I was getting a little warn out with The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything and Cebu.) Just go to http://www.jarsofclay.com/ The music should start up automatically. And Laine, the song right after it is Drive. I know how you love 80's music. They re-did it. Not sure if you'll like it, but it's worth taking a listen. :)
